St Augustine’s College participates in the Northern Suburbs Schools Water Polo Association Competition for Years 7 -12 and the Sydney Northern Beaches Water Polo Breakers Competition for Years 5 and 6.
The 2013 boys competition is divided into age groups:
- Years 10, 11 and 12 compete Term 1 and Term 2. Games are Friday nights at the Warringah Aquatic Centre
- Years 8 and 9 compete Term 2 and Term 3. Games are Monday nights at the Warringah Aquatic Centre.
- Years 7 compete Term 3. Games are Friday nights at Warringah Aquatic Centre.
- Years 5 and 6 compete Term 4. Games are Friday Nights at Boy Charlton Pool, Manly.
Students must attend one Water Polo training session per week and the weekly night-game.
Each Water Polo team will require a coach and manager. Senior students are often willing to help coach and parents are encouraged to help manage their son’s team.
Uniform
Students must wear the College sports uniform to and from the games and the College swimming costume each game.
