Opportunities exist at St Augustine’s College for experienced coaches across the ISA Rugby program (from First XV to U11’s, both A level and below). We provide an opportunity for our boys to develop both in Rugby skills and strategies, as well as athletically, in a setting that encourages individual and team participation and achievement.

The St Augustine’s Rugby pre-season commences at the end of Term 1 and the season concludes in Week 4 of Term 3.   During Term 2 and Term 3, training times will include at least two sessions from 3:45pm-5:15pm and a Saturday match each week during the ISA season.

Essential Criteria

  • Current First Aid certificate
  • Hold a current Rugby Australia Level 1 Coaching Accreditation as minimum
  • SmartRugby accredited

About You

  • Demonstrated record of being a dynamic and successful practitioner in the delivery of Rugby programs within a school environment.
  • Willing to work early mornings and afternoons. • Preferably not currently coaching or playing in a team.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage adolescents whilst developing the ‘whole’ person.
  • Excellent communication skills, with an ability to engage with all stakeholders in a responsive and inclusive manner.
