HEAVEY house strides home to victory
After some weeks of student trials for the annual event, the weather was turned on for the running of the 2018 House Relay Race at Brookvale Oval.
The debut runs for the first leg of the Year 5 runners was particularly entertaining, with all boys completing their laps within close to record times. As the baton changed hands, Murray house and Heavey house looked to be setting the pace, until the Heavey boys took the lead and never looked back, winning this years event by a good margin. The official placings are below:
1st place – HEAVEY (9:53.19 - new race record)
2nd place – CRANE
3rd place – GOOLD
4th place – MURRAY
5th place – REVILLE
6th place – HUTCHINSON
