PHOENIX YOUTH CHOIR
Last Wednesday night, we were blessed with a performance from the Phoenix Youth Choir. The Choir has been an integral part of the Arizona music community since 1984. The organisation is comprised of children throughout the community who have different ethnic and socioeconomic backgrounds, yet unite with the common language of music.
Over twenty of these talented young men stayed in the homes of families from St Augustine’s College. We hope the cultural exchange was fulfilling and inspiring, and we look forward to their next tour in the not-too-distant future.
BROOKVALE PRIMARY SCHOOL BAND DAY
Last Thursday, members from Concert Band 1 visited Brookvale Primary to assist with their Band Day. The seven boys from Year 8 and 9 spent the afternoon rehearsing students on their parts and performing with them for their afternoon assembly.
