During the Term 3 School holidays, the International Office organized an indoor rock-climbing activity at Northern Beaches Rock House for Year 9 and Year 10 International students who stayed in Sydney during the holidays. The purpose is to enrich their Australian experiences during the holiday break.
16 International students joined the activity and thank you to 8 Senior Students from the 2019 Student Leadership team who also joined the activity to support the younger International Students. Students were paired up when they climbed. The activity lasted for nearly 3 hours and all of them could not stop talking about how much fun it was.
Holiday breaks offer important activities time for Internationals, especially for those who do not travel back to their home country. We aim to organize more holiday activities in order to maximize the Australian life experiences of our International Students, such as swimming club, horse riding lessons, archery training and so much more. We welcome all staff, homestay families and domestic students to be part of our holiday activities program. Please contact the International Office if you are interested.
