Welcome to 2019, especially to all of our new boys and their families. We hope everyone had a restful summer break and are looking forward to a great year ahead.
To those families who have had a tough holiday period, you are, and continue to be in our thoughts and prayers.
Masterplan
The changes to the look of The College over the holidays is surprising but Mr Byrne was keeping us up to date throughout 2018, of the plans ahead for the building work taking place in 2019. He will continue to keep the parents updated via the Tolle and at the P&F meetings. The short-term pain will no doubt be well worth the long-term gain and your ongoing patience is appreciated while the space needed for 2020 is constructed. The end result will benefit every boy at the College.
Thank you!
A big thanks to all those volunteers who assisted with the P&F Assn Welcome Morning Tea for new parents on Wednesday and also to those who have put their hands up to assist at this evening’s All Parent Welcome Evening, much appreciated.

P&F AGM
Unfortunately, we did not have a quorum at the last meeting of 2018 to vote in the new P&F committee so they will be voted in at the first meeting in 2019 (details below). All positions have someone nominated which is great news. Thank you to those that have volunteered.
2019 P&F Meetings and All Parent Event
This year there will be a guest speaker at each of our P&F meetings commencing with John Laforest, Deputy Principal – Academic, on the HSC results of 2018. The meetings will still be relatively short including the guest speaker and Jonathan Byrne will provide his report outlining progress on the building works and other topics of interest to the parent community. Last year we discussed topics such as the mobile phone policy / fee increases / extra – curricular activity structure etc. Please take the opportunity to be a part of these discussions by attending the P&F meetings when you can.
