The Term 1 Monday Tennis Program commences on Monday 11 February 2019 at Wakehurst Tennis Club. The program includes skill development for varying abilities and is run by Wakehurst Tennis Club.
Duration: 8 weeks (commencing on Monday 11 February and concluding on Monday 1 April).
Time: 4:00pm - 5:30pm
Transport: Bus transport will be provided from the College to Wakehurst Tennis courts. The bus departs from Alfred Road gates at 3:40pm. Students will need to be collected from the venue at 5:30pm.
Skills to be developed include:
- Consistency – all strokes
- Basic tactics – singles vs doubles
- Point play – learning to compete
Students are required to complete two terms of Tennis in 2019 to receive ten points towards their Sport and Co-curricular requirements.
Team App will be used as a communication tool for tennis announcements.
