One of the most rewarding elements of teaching the Year 11 English Studies Course is that it demands we offer our students ‘real world scenarios.’
This week, our Year 11 class visited Warringah Mall for one such experience. Their final assessment of the year challenges students to research, plan and present their ‘perfect holiday.’ This excursion allowed them to speak to local travel agents in order to gain some ‘insider secrets.’
‘ I learnt that Tuesday is a good day for bargain flights, which websites are the safest and the most common mistakes people make when they travel.’ Matt Caruso, Year 11
