Parents and Friends Association

Our parents are very much an integral part of our community!

The Parents and Friends Association (P&F) is a voluntary organisation involved in a wide range of College activities.  The active and dedicated team of parents are a vital link between the College and the parent body.  They hold meetings once per term where the school Principal and his staff give their overview of recent College activities and policies, as well as hear the parent body ideas and initiatives.

The primary aim of the P&F is to continue their connection to the College and be  involved in supporting key College events, as well as initiating and running many of their own P&F events.  An important initiative of the P&F is the Augustinian Kitchen; supporting our College families in need due to unforeseen and unfortunate circumstances.  Food packages are supplied by the parent community and delivered to homes for the required period.

Many parents regularly help with the running of the canteen and uniform shop, as well as coaching and managing sporting teams, participating in school excursions and other cultural pursuits.

The P&F Mother and Son Pink Breakfast

This is a community event in the Augustinian tradition through which we acknowledge, celebrate and support those who have been touched by breast cancer. The event is attended by about 500+ people enjoying a BBQ gourmet breakfast as they listen to music, purchase merchandise, raffle tickets and items from the stalls.

View invite and rsvp via the Trybooking link.

Looking for community members to hold a stall

We provide a trestle table in a tent and the number of stalls is limited to only nine. There is no cost for holding a stall but we ask that participants donate a percentage of their sales to the McGrath Foundation.  Donations are tax deductible.

Date:  Friday, 26 October, 2018.  7.30-8.45am (set up from 6.30am)

Augustinian Kitchen – more meals needed

Thank you for everyone who has generously supported the families in our College Community through the Augustinian Kitchen.

More meals are needed leading up to the school holidays, please consider cooking a meal. We have plenty of soup left, so other meals not containing minced meat would be much appreciated.

Please include a label with the following details: Name of meal / Date prepared / Ingredients / Number of serves. The meal should preferably able to be frozen. Please use your own disposable containers; we are unable to return containers to you.

Please deliver the meals to Front Office and they will look after the meals getting to the families.

Thank you for your support for our College community; the Augustinian Kitchen could not help families without your contribution. Please spread the word and encourage your friends to get involved.

If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to contact the Augustinian Kitchen Coordinator Virpi Tuite on augkitchen@saintaug.nsw.edu.au.
