We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Administrative Assistant to join our Sport and Co-curricular team on a contract basis. This position will be a fixed-term contract until the end of 2025, with potential opportunity beyond. This role will directly support the Assistant Principal Sport and Co-curricular and our Sports Office, ensuring the smooth operation of our sports and co-curricular programs. The ideal candidate will have strong administrative experience, a keen eye for detail and a fabulous attitude.

Role Overview:

This role is pivotal in supporting the smooth operation of our sports and co-curricular programs, ensuring they run efficiently and effectively.

This contract position can be full-time or part-time, with a schedule to suit your needs (min 30 hours/week).

Key Responsibilities will include:

  • Administrative duties in the Sports Office including supporting the onboarding of coaching casuals and validating paperwork
  • Providing general administrative support to the Assistant Principal Sport and Co-curricular and Sports Office.
  • Coordinating and managing schedules, events, and activities related to sports and co-curricular programs including carnivals and significant events
  • Liaising with coaches, teachers-in-charge, and external partners as required
  • Maintaining accurate records and databases, ensuring all information is up-to-date and accessible
  • Assisting in the planning and execution of sports events, competitions, and co-curricular activities

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Strong administrative experience
  • An interest in and/or understanding of sport and co-curricular activities would be beneficial
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and be able to quickly learn new systems
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
