We are seeking a dynamic and collaborative Drama Teacher to join our Drama Department in a permanent full‑time capacity, commencing in Term 4 or for the commencement of 2026. You will teach Drama across Stages 4–6, inspire a love of theatre and performance, and actively contribute to our co‑curricular program (productions, theatre sports, stagecraft and technical theatre).

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering high quality Drama learning experiences for Years 7–12
  • Directing or supporting school productions, showcases and festivals; coordinating rehearsals and performance logistics.
  • Using evidence informed practice, formative assessment and explicit teaching to drive student growth.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to develop engaging units, resources and assessment.
  • Fostering a safe, inclusive and disciplined learning environment aligned to College values.
  • Contributing to the broader life of the College and co-curricular activities

About You

You will be an educator who models professional excellence and joy in the craft of Drama. You have:

  • NSW teaching accreditation and relevant tertiary qualifications in Drama/Theatre.
  • Demonstrated success teaching Stage 6 Drama with strong curriculum and assessment literacy.
  • Proven experience in school productions (direction, dramaturgy, stage management or technical oversight).
  • Strong classroom management, communication and relationship building skills with adolescent boys.
  • A commitment to the ethos of Catholic education and to the Augustinian values of Truth, Love and Community.
