We are seeking a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to join our committed and collaborative team from Term 3. This is a permanent full-time position, suited to an educator who is committed to engaging students through rich, inclusive and differentiated learning experiences.
Your Role: As a member of our teaching team, your responsibilities will include:
- Providing an exemplary in-class experience for students
- The ability to foster a love of literature, language and critical thinking
- The ability to work collaboratively with peers and leadership to support student learning and wellbeing across the College
- A commitment to supporting the College’s Augustinian Catholic ethos
- A willingness and ability to contribute to the College’s academic, spiritual, and co-curricular life
What We’re Looking For: To excel in this role, you will need:
- Experience in teaching English curriculum to Stage 6 and/or Advanced HSC courses
- To be a qualified teacher with NESA accreditation to teach in NSW
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- A collaborative and proactive approach to teaching and learning
- A commitment to child safeguarding
- A commitment to ongoing personal and professional development
- A commitment to child safety and Catholic education values
- A willingness to contribute to the broader life of the College, including co-curricular and pastoral programs
- A commitment to ongoing professional development
