We are seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic Primary Teacher Librarian to join our library team. This exciting role can be tailored to be either full-time or part-time (min 0.6FTE), based on the needs of the preferred candidate.
Your Role: As our Primary Teacher Librarian, you will:
- Foster a vibrant, inclusive library environment that promotes a lifelong love of reading and literature.
- Design and deliver engaging, inquiry-based learning experiences for students in Stages 3 and 4.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers to integrate information literacy, research skills, and digital citizenship into the curriculum.
- Curate and manage a dynamic collection of print and digital resources.
- Support the College’s Augustinian Catholic ethos and contribute to its academic, spiritual, and co-curricular life.
- Support the Augustinian Catholic culture of our College.

What We’re Looking For: To excel in this role, you will need:
- Relevant qualifications in Education and Library & Information Science or Teacher Librarianship (must hold NESA accreditation to teach in NSW)
- Experience as a Teacher Librarian with experience in, or an interest in, Stages 3 and 4
- A passion for teaching and student learning.
- Excellent organisational and behavioural management skills.
- A commitment to the Catholic and St Augustine's educational values.
- A dedication to child safety.
- The ability to work collaboratively
