We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Learning Enhancement Teacher to join our Learning Enhancement team as early in Term 1, 2026 as possible. This is a permanent full-time position, and plays a pivotal role in supporting students with diverse learning needs, collaborating with teachers and implementing targeted interventions that promote student growth and success.
Your Role: As a member of our teaching team, you will:
- Design and deliver evidence-based learning support programs for students with additional needs
- Collaborate with teachers to differentiate curriculum and assessment
- Develop and monitor Individual Learning Plans
- Interpret and analyse objective and subjective data
- Have an understanding of current best-practice research-based programs and tools
- Case manage and liaise with parent or external specialists as required
- Contribute to a culture of inclusion and high expectations for all learners
- Collaborate with colleagues to support student learning and wellbeing across the College
- Support the College’s Augustinian Catholic ethos and contribute to its academic, spiritual, and co-curricular life
- Support the Augustinian Catholic culture of our College
What We’re Looking For: To excel in this role, you will need:
- To be a qualified teacher with NESA accreditation to teach in NSW
- Experience or qualifications in Special Education or Inclusive Education
- To interpret psychometric, medical or other specialist reports
- A strong understanding of diverse learning profiles and intervention strategies
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- A collaborative and proactive approach to teaching and learning
- To be flexible and adaptive
- A commitment to child safety and Catholic education values
- A willingness to contribute to the broader life of the College, including co-curricular and pastoral programs
- Maintain confidentiality
- A commitment to ongoing professional development
