Year 7 Hutchinson 2 students engaging in this morning's Peer Support session in Cascia garden under the Jacaranda tree.

Each fortnight on Friday mornings Year 7 and Year 10 students gather participate in the peer support program. Each Year 7 group has a Year 10 leader who guides them through discussion on various important issues relating to their daily lives. The program is evidence based and the peer led approach is used to enhance the mental, social and emotional wellbeing of young people.

This week the students focused on discussion around the quote “You must find a new way to think, before you can master a new way to be.”

A nice way for the 'little fish' to feel they are definitely a part of our big school.
