The College is seeking a permanent full-time Primary School Teacher to join our team.

As a member of our Primary Department, your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the Augustinian Catholic culture of the College
  • Providing an exemplary in-class experience for students
  • Utilising modern pedagogical approaches to deliver differentiated learning to students at all levels
  • Engaging with parents, psychologists and pastoral team to ensure individual student needs are catered for
  • Classroom supervision and behaviour management
  • Managing student assessments and tracking academic progress
  • Managing administrative requirements including report writing, parent teacher meetings and marking
  • Working effectively with the Head of Primary to implement the aims and practices of the Primary and College
  • Remaining up to date with teaching standards and pedagogical practices by actively participating in a range of professional development
  • Be willing to contribute to the College's academic, spiritual and co-curricular life.

To be successful in the role you will have:

  • Strong experience in teaching Stage 3
  • A Certificate in Religious Education
  • Required qualifications to teach in NSW schools, or ability to obtain
  • A commitment to the Catholic and St Augustine's educational values
  • A commitment to child safety
  • The ability to work collaboratively with peers and leadership
  • A commitment to ongoing personal professional development

We pay above-market rates, based on proficiency levels within our Multi-Enterprise Agreement. ($92,420-$132,758 base salary)
