The College is opening applications for experienced coaches to join our Football (Soccer) team. We provide an opportunity for our boys to develop basic skills and strategies, as well as athletically, in a setting that encourages individual and team participation and achievement.
Our teams compete in the MWFA Competition, with select age groups competing in IPSHA and ISA.
The season has commenced and will conclude no later than 24 August. Training sessions are held various days and times Monday-Thursday from 4.00-7.00pm and games on Saturday. We also offer additional coaching opportunities through our morning skills program and holiday camps.
Essential Criteria
- Current First Aid certificate.
- Hold a current Level 1 Coaching Accreditation or be willing to complete one this season.
- Demonstrated record of being a dynamic and successful practitioner in the delivery of sports programs within a school environment.
- Willing to work mornings/afternoons and weekends.
- Preferably not currently coaching or playing in a team.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage adolescents whilst developing the ‘whole’ person.
- Excellent communication skills, with an ability to engage with all stakeholders in a responsive and inclusive manner.
Child Protection legislation applies, the successful applicant must hold and maintain a current Working with Children Check.
